VIVIDVIEW® brings innovative design to glass without impacting its transparency. We integrate metallic mesh or fabrics into each insulated or laminated unit to enhance the overall aesthetic of a structure. We integrate three types of mesh into our panels– VISION fabric mesh, Expanded metal mesh, and Woven fabric mesh. The mesh enhances privacy and controls glare without obstructing the view, making the glass functional without compromising aesthetics. The metallic mesh/fabrics are compatible with multiple coated glasses, including Low-E coated panels that offer better U-values.
Future Glazing offers VIVIDVIEW® as a turnkey solution, offering design, engineering, supply and installation services and support. Our expert team understands how the structure, expansion joints, and waterproofing must work seamlessly to create a bespoke façade.
A metal-coated precision fabric interlayer gets laminated between two panes of glass to form an inseparable bond. The glass can be used as-is or encapsulated in an Insulated Glass Unit (IGU) for enhanced performance. Each fabric has weaves offering aperture percentages between 25% to 70% and light transmission percentages between 18% and 60%. The yarn thickness is between 140 to 260 microns, making it almost invisible when viewed from a distance of three metres. The weave of the fabric is responsible for optical effects, subtle reflection, and solar reduction that vary depending on the density of the pattern and the thickness of the yarn chosen, providing the designer with a wide range of options.
The woven wire mesh structure gets laminated between glass panes that are encapsulated in an IGU or single pane to achieve the required performance metrics. Varying mesh densities within the elements allow precise control over the shading degrees. The mesh guides and filters natural daylight while allowing undisrupted views from the inside.
The metal mesh gets suspended within the cavity of an IGU. The structure is designed to control glare when light passes through and reduce solar heat gain. VIVIDVIEW® expanded mesh works as a sunscreen as it can achieve 100% shading when the long diagonal of the mesh is parallel to the ground.
VIVIDVIEW® offers a glistening metallic finish that enhances the overall appeal of every building. The decorative glass can create customised patterns and designs to suit the dynamic needs of architects. The mesh can be combined with a range of glazing variants allowing for the creation of bespoke façades.
The mesh patterns deflect the light, offering privacy to those inside. However, the design ensures that the view from the inside remains unaffected.
VIVIDVIEW® panels reduce the amount of heat allowed to pass through them, improving the Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) and therefore contributes to reduced energy consumption by decreasing cooling requirements. Additionally, the mesh structure disperses the light to minimise glare.
The mesh structure gets hermetically sealed in a double-glazed glass cavity or laminated in a single glazing, eliminating the need for cleaning and additional maintenance.
VIVIDVIEW® is also an offering by Future Glazing. Our team provides design, development and delivery support. Given our years of experience and expertise, you can rely on efficient design assistance and a high-quality installation.
DECOVIEW™ panels have a decorative interlayer fused between two glass panes. We use heat, pressure, and adhesive materials to create these bespoke laminated panels.
Our CHROMVIEW® panels combine the durability, safety, and corrosion resistance of glass with the reflective properties of mirrors.
DIGIVIEW enables architects and interior designers to create unique spaces with high-resolution digital printed glass.
